These paintings are dedicated to the shoa period in Belgium . In July 1942
the Nazis started deporting the Jews. In those days my mother used to say: "We have to do everything we can to escape from this trap " Indeed she succeeded to save us!

Biography
was born in Antwerpen (Belgium) in 1937.
I studied graphic design at the Academy of Art in Antwerp.
Together with my wife, Miriam, we came (on Aliya) to Israel 1959 .
I worked for 35 years as a graphic designer and as a manager
of the art department of the Israeli Educational T.V.
Today I am glad to present my paintings of the last 15 years.

Henri (Tsvi Nadav) Rosler ne a Anvers en 1937.
Refugié à Arbre avec sa mère Mina et sa sœur Betty de 1942 à 1945
Etudie le Graphisme à l’Académie des beaux arts d’Anvers .
Epouse Miriam Hetzberger en 1959 et émigre la même année en Israel.
Directeur Artistique de la Télévision Educative Israélienne de 1964 à 1999.
Participe à de nombreuses expositions en Israel entre autres
expose au Muse National de l’Holocauste a Jérusalem ( Yad Vashem) en 2010.
Le musé a acquis dix tableaux de l’artiste.
« Pour boucler la boucle, ce qui fut des années noires pour tous, fut pour l’enfant une période d’insouciance dans un cadre champêtre entoure de la bienveillance de gens vrais, modestes et courageux. Le peintre qu’il est devenu, restitue merveilleusement une partie de sa vision d’enfant dans le village d’Arbre d’alors mais aussi celle de l’adulte qu’il est devenu »

After 68 years the artist comes back in the village where he was hidden as a child in the years 1942-1945 . The 18 paintings are the expression of his memories from this period . Arbre is a little village in Belgium.

My Biography
was born in Antwerpen (Belgium) in 1937.
I studied graphic design at the Academy of Art in Antwerp.

I worked for 35 years as a graphic designer and as a manager

What wonderful paintings, Tsvi!
The holocaust series is so strong and very touching. And the paintings afterwards, so full of life and color, a testament to survival and victory that just seems to burst out from you like a song.

merci ! Dans la serie on peut voir les différentes phases de la construction - c’est en fait une protestation contre la destruction d’un paysage pastoral que j’aimais fort , pour faire place a une autoroute de plus ! Le prix du progres !
